The Association of Mississippi Midwives is a Non-Profit Organization
that seeks to preserve the Art and Practice of
Midwifery in Mississippi.
Our members benefit from the support of their colleagues,
the ability to participate in peer review meetings,
and the opportunity to continue their education through
trainings and workshops hosted by AMM.
Our goal is to keep Midwifery Care
Safe and Accessible in Mississippi by:

being actively involved in the legislative process

requiring standards of education and experience from our members

establishing practice standards for Midwifery Care

utilizing a formal grievance process

advocating for safer birth practices to improve maternal and infant outcomes
